The Gurkha Village site was created to provide a cultural and recreational area for the Gurkha community based on the Sandhurst Station estate. In addition the site also provides a BBQ and recreational area for all other permanent members of staff assigned to Sandhurst Station, officer cadets and all of their families
The Gurkha Village has three traditionally built Pagodas providing lighting, seating and shelter and the following additional facilities:
A covered area with BBQ cooking grills
A covered area with a cold water supply
Toilet facilities available in Sandhurst Hall
Maximum capacity for 150 people.
Car parking next to the WO’s & Sgt’s Mess
The Gurkha Village is booked through 2IC Gurkha Company (Sittang) using the booking form. All bookings are to be submitted with a minimum of 72 hours notice. Bookings will only be accepted from permanent members of staff assigned to Sandhurst Station, Officer Cadets or their families.
